Dania M. Baker represents employers and businesses throughout the Bay Area in employment litigation, business disputes, and workplace counseling matters. Her practice focuses on employment defense, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and disability access and accommodation issues at the administrative level, including proceedings before the Labor Commissioner, as well as in state and federal court.

Ms. Baker has substantial trial and appellate experience representing businesses and employers in complex litigation matters, including jury trials involving employment, business, and class action defense claims. She has also handled appellate proceedings before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Her practice combines strategic litigation advocacy with practical business counseling.

In addition to litigation, Ms. Baker advises employers on hiring and termination decisions, workplace policies, employee discipline, risk management, and day-to-day compliance issues. She also has substantial experience drafting and revising employee handbooks, workplace policies, employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents for businesses across a wide range of industries.

Ms. Baker received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), earning degrees in Psychology and Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2006.

She is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
